While the Galaxy S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra have been available for several months, the Korean company has announced a new Galaxy event for August 27, 2026<\/strong>. This time, there will be no huge Galaxy Unpacked event with a packed venue and elaborate staging: the presentation will be streamed online.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Samsung is still keeping some mystery alive, simply referring to a \u201cnew addition\u201d to the Galaxy S26 family. But there\u2019s little need for detective work: all signs point to the Samsung Galaxy S26 FE<\/strong>, whose specifications have already leaked extensively in recent weeks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Galaxy event scheduled for August 27<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Samsung\u2019s next event will take place on Thursday, August 27, 2026<\/strong>, and will be streamed live on YouTube. The company promises a smartphone designed to bring several Galaxy S26 experiences to more users, particularly around photography, artificial intelligence, and the latest version of One UI<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The wording is interesting. Samsung isn\u2019t presenting this upcoming model as something completely different, but rather as a more accessible gateway into the S26 experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Their appeal now lies in compromise: keeping Samsung\u2019s software ecosystem, long-term support, and part of the premium experience while lowering the price through a few hardware concessions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Samsung could have more surprises<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Galaxy S26 FE should be the star of the August 27 event, but it might not be alone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rumors also point to a possible introduction of the new Galaxy Tab S12<\/strong> generation, including the Tab S12 Ultra. New Galaxy Buds remain another possibility, although Samsung hasn\u2019t provided enough clues to consider their appearance certain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A dedicated event would certainly make more sense with several devices. Holding an entire presentation for an S26 FE that appears fairly close to its predecessor would be unusual, even for Samsung.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That isn\u2019t necessarily a bad strategy. Problems begin when the price of an FE gets too close to that of a discounted standard Galaxy S model. At that point, its positioning becomes much harder to justify.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
